I am a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at UCLA. I work in philosophy of mind, philosophy of self, and philosophy of psychology. I also have interests in Chinese philosophy and philosophy of science.

My doctoral research explores the origins of the conceptual representation of self by looking at the use of non-conceptual representations of self in perception and action.

Before coming to UCLA, I received an A.B. in Philosophy from Princeton University and spent a year teaching English and Philosophy at Shihezi University in Xinjiang, China
as a Princeton in Asia Fellow.
